When a tooth has either had its natural structure compromised or has been lost from your smile altogether, it’s time to have a new, custom-made restoration created to repair the damage. Dental crowns are the optimal solution for protecting and rebuilding decayed or injured teeth, while bridges can be used to sturdily replace missing consecutive teeth.

At Sand Lake Dental, we use composite resin for all your filling restorations. We have not used amalgam (“silver”) metal fillings since 2004 and have never looked back. Composite resin offers the strength and adaptability required to withstand chewing functions, but also chemically bonds and helps seal tooth restoration margins to decrease sensitivity. It goes without saying that it also looks more natural, as our staff will use a shade guide to match the composite resin to your teeth for a more seamless restoration that only your dentist will notice. We also offer a newer composite that contain no Bisphenol A, no Bis-GMA and no BPA derivatives. If you wish to use this type of composite, please let our staff know ahead of time.

A Snap-on Smile is a customized oral appliance that offers convenient and cost-effective improvements for patients who want to improve their smile’s appearance. They’re also often a great choice for people who are in need of a new dental restoration but aren’t the right candidate for dental crowns and/or bridges. Your new Snap-on Smile will be comfortable, durable, and so functional that you can even eat while wearing it.
